J.A.C. Redford composed and conducted the Prologue: The Great Adventure for Steven Curtis Chapman’s gold-selling CD, The Great Adventure. The album won the 1993 Grammy Award in the Best Pop Gospel Album category. Prologue also opened each live concert performance on Steven Curtis Chapman’s “Great Adventure” tour, a version of which is included on his CD, The Live Adventure.
Prologue was originally scored for orchestra and the score and parts are available for purchase from Plough Down Sillion Music. A concert band arrangement of the work by Paul Lavender was published by Hal Leonard Music. It is now out of print, but may be rented from PDS Music. Contact PDS Music for further information.
